Early Starters International is an educational humanitarian organization that brings back a healthy childhood to young children in emergency situations and vulnerable communities around the world

Early Starters International (ESI) was founded by Ran Cohen Harounoff and Sarah Wilner, who have over 30 years of experience in the education system in Israel and abroad. ESI addresses the specific needs of young children, particularly in crisis situations, to reduce the effects of trauma in these formative years. Our team includes a network of early childhood education specialists skilled in program design and development in crisis management, who work in collaboration with local partners, led and sustained by the community. Access to early childhood education and care is a universal right as well as a basic need – it is our responsibility to ensure its continuity, even in times of conflict and humanitarian crises.
